This is a rattan picnic basket that has grown to a glossy amber color.
Usually, the lid and body are secured together with rattan, but this one has hinges attached, and a chain is attached to the inside to prevent the lid from opening too forcefully, indicating that it was well-used.
The interior is just large enough to fit a B5 size document and a 500ml PET bottle upright. It's not suitable for carrying heavy items, but if you handle it carefully, it will be useful outdoors. Of course, you can also use it for organizing and storing things indoors.
The clasp had rust on it, so it was polished off. The rattan has been cleaned, but please note that there may be some discoloration and broken fibers in some areas.
