BAER & REMPEL PHOENIX Sewing Machine Arm Lamp

This is a sewing machine lamp from Baer & Rempel, a historic German sewing machine manufacturer. It has a simple arm with a clamp, so it can be attached to a table or hung from a wall. This manufacturer's sewing machines have been pale green since the 1950s, so we suspect this item dates to before the 1940s.

There are small scratches, dullness, and some paint peeling, but no damage that would interfere with use. However, please do not ask for subtle adjustments to the arm angle, just a rough feel.

The power is turned on/off by turning the base of the socket. The cord appears to have been replaced later, but there is no sign of deterioration. The bulb used is E14.
