PEONY COIN CHANGE machine

This is a very convenient change dispenser that dispenses coins of the displayed amount when you press the button. There is no setting for 500 yen coins, so we assume it is from before 1982.

I read on a blog by someone who uses this that 50 yen coins tend to get stuck, and after trying it several times, there was one time when it didn't come out properly. Also, depending on how the coin is inserted, it can get stuck, so it might be a good idea to shake the device after inserting the coin. Please bear with me on that point, as it's an analog device.

It was disassembled and cleaned. There are some small scratches and some rust, but it is in good overall condition. The drawer on the right side appears to be a billfold.
