Peeling paint pendant light

This enamel pendant light has an exquisite, one-of-a-kind feel, with the paint peeling off in an exquisite way. It was probably made in the USA. The original exterior color is green, but gray was layered on top, and then vermilion and yellow paint was applied, which has since peeled off considerably.

The cord is at an angle, so if it were hung as is the shade would be at an angle, so it is hung by a chain and the cord is left slack.

The bulb is a standard E-26. The ceiling cap has been replaced with a new one. Please be careful when lifting the lamp as there may be some rust or loose paint on the lamp that is slightly sharp.
