PEAK Lighting Magnifier

This stand magnifier is made by Tokai Sangyo, a manufacturer of optical supplies since 1914. It is attached to a stand with a clamp, similar to a Z-light, and the loupe and fluorescent light are set inside the shade.

I've seen these types of stand magnifiers in foreign movies and TV dramas, but I didn't know they were made in Japan. However, it seems they were only produced in small quantities and are quite rare.

Due to the cord's slack, the lower arm can only be tilted to the level shown in the first photo. Also, please note that the shade is a little heavy, so it may tilt easily (it can be fixed in place).

There are some scratches, paint peeling, rust, and stains that cannot be removed. There are also scratches and a chip on the lens, but these are not serious enough to interfere with use.

The dark gray color gives it a solid impression. It has a 50Hz/60Hz selector switch on the base. The clamp can hold up to 4.2cm thick objects. Fluorescent light bulbs are not included.
