Round paper tray

It's a round paper tray. I think it's a "cocoon tray" used to store silkworm cocoons, but I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Compared to a regular paper cocoon tray, the edges of this tray are more clearly raised.

There are kanji characters in the center and on the sides, and I think the one to the right of the center is "Shisei" (Sincerity), but the rest are unreadable. Please note that the paint on the surface is peeling and the material inside is powdery, so no matter how much you wipe it, it will leave a whitish residue.

It is light and easy to handle, so you can use it as a tray, place potpourri or dried flowers on it, display accessories, or use it in a variety of ways depending on your imagination.
