OLIVETTI Valentine S typewriter ink ribbon replaced

The Olivetti Valentine typewriter is highly acclaimed for its unconventional design by Ettore Sottsass and its high level of perfection as a typewriter, with excellent storage and portability, and is included in the permanent collections of museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This model has the letter "S" after Valentine, but it is not a special version like the Cooper S, but a slightly cheaper version that does not have a tab key.

There are some small scratches and stains on the case and body, but the condition is still fairly good. We cleaned as much of the reachable area as possible, and removed dust and dirt from hard-to-reach areas inside with an air compressor. The plastic parts have a glossy finish.

The ink ribbon has been replaced with a new one. There are no problems with key operation, and the product is in good condition for actual use.

How to use <br>Insert the paper from the back of the roller▼
Turn the knob next to the roller to advance the paper to the position where you want to type the first character.
Adjust the left and right margins with the left and right sliders on the scale at the back▼
Press the line feed lever to move the carriage to the right.
Start typing

Line breaks
If you move the line feed lever on the left of the roller to the right, the line will automatically be fed and set to the leftmost position of the next line.

Line spacing adjustment
You can adjust the line spacing using the lever to the right of the line break lever.
0 no line spacing
1 normal
2 0.5 line gap
3 One line space

Change ink color
If a two-color ink ribbon is installed, you can change the ink color using the lever on the right side of the keyboard (no printing will occur if the lever is centered).
