NIPPON KOSHITSU TOKIO (Japanese Hard Pottery) IRONSTONE Blue Line Plate, φ16.5cm

This is a NIKKO (Japanese Hard Pottery) plate with a blue line. The stamp on the back has the word "KANAZAWA" in the center, so it was probably made for export. I imagine it dates from the Taisho to early Showa period.
→We also have a deep plate with the same stamp, measuring 22.5cm in diameter .

The diameter is about 16cm, which is somewhere between a small and a medium-sized plate. It is the perfect size for a dessert plate or side dish.

There are particles and paint splatters that were attached during manufacturing, differences in the color of the blue lines, etc. There are also small crazing and stains all over the surface, but we have excluded items with severe damage such as cracks.

Precautions <br data-mce-fragment="1">Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
