Negishi Scale Top-Pan Balance

It uses a flathead screw, so I imagine it's quite old. It's a heavy iron scale. The right side is slightly higher, and the pan on the right side is slightly larger. When you shift the lever in front to SHUT, the scale is locked in place.

If the gauge is not centered when there is nothing placed on it, try adjusting it using the screw located inside the door on the left side.

The bottom right corner of the gauge cover is missing, and there are some scratches and some paint peeling, but no major damage is apparent.

The plate states "capacity 100g" and "sensitivity 100mg." While it's likely practical, it also looks great as a decorative piece. The color is nice, too. You could even mount the scale and place jewelry or potpourri on it.
