Natural stone birch

A small hippopotamus figurine made from natural stone. The blue color is not as strong as lapis lazuli, so it is probably sodalite. It is small enough to display in a small place, and can also be carried around as a talisman.

It has been hand-carved and carved, so there are some rough edges. There is no visible damage, but the chip on the left hind leg may have been caused after purchase.
