A signal mirror is a pocket-sized mirror that reflects light to let rescue teams and passing aircraft know your location if you become stuck in the mountains or at sea. While it is still made as survival gear , this particular item was originally used by the US military during World War II.
There are two types of this product, "ESM1" and "ESM2," and this is the "ESM1." It was manufactured by General Electric, an electronics manufacturer . While it has some damage, such as scratches, peeling paint, and cloudy or chipped mirrors, it appears to have been carefully stored, and the string is still attached.
The mirror is about 5mm thick and has no distortion, so it reflects clearly. And best of all, the instructions on the back are cool. Only the cross in the center is made of clear glass, so if you ever get lost, hold the instructions facing you, look through the cross, and reflect sunlight toward rescuers.
We have three in stock, but please note that the degree of damage may vary.
