Metro Seiki Micrometer

This is a micrometer used to measure precise lengths. Although the clasp is broken, it comes with a wooden box, and judging by the use of flathead screws, I imagine it's quite old, dating back to the 1940s. It can measure from 25 to 50 mm, with an accuracy of just 0.001 mm.

There are signs of wear and tear that come with years of use, such as dullness, darkening, and discoloration of the wooden box, but rather than giving an impression of oldness, it actually feels heavy.
