Triangular metal ingots (sold individually)

This triangular piece of metal was used in a metal processing factory. It was probably attached to a machine, but what kind of processing was it used for?

I thought it was made of iron, but since there's no rust and it doesn't stick to magnets, I think it's aluminum. There are some scratches and paint stains, but it looks great.

It weighs about 1.5 kg. You can display it as is, or you can use it as an anvil.
