Marine Lighting

This is a marine light that was used on ships a long time ago. It has a plastic base with a glass dome and guard over it, and an aluminum or other dome fitted inside, so it reflects light quite brightly even with a low-wattage bulb.

As this is an old light that was actually used on a ship, there is some dirt, scratches, rust, and other damage. Please also note that one wing nut is missing (although this does not appear to affect use).

To replace the bulb, remove the three nuts and then remove the guard and glass dome. The cord and plug have been replaced with new ones made in the USA. The bulb size is a standard E26. Because the bulb tends to heat up, we recommend using a bulb of 20W or less, or an LED.
