Tank gun cartridge case

This is a storage case for 105mm tank gun cartridges. It's from the US military in the 1960s, and I can't think of any other use for it other than storing posters and other long, thin items, but the texture of the material and the lettering are incredibly cool. I think it would be fun just to display it.

The body is made of thick paper, with the lid and bottom made of metal. There are some scratches and stains, but the material is still in good condition. The inner diameter is 13.5cm, but it tapers slightly from 54.5cm down from the opening.
