Lacquer barrels are used for various purposes, such as collecting, measuring, and mixing lacquer, but this particular one was used by a lacquer artist for storage. Although the exact age is unknown, it appears to be quite old and has a nice woody feel. Please note that there are traces of lacquer and old insect damage.
