Hanamori Yasuji, who handled everything from planning to interviews, photography, page layout and book design, and Ohashi Tsuneko, who was also the model for the TV drama "Toto Neechan," published the fashion magazine "Style Book" in 1946, shortly after the end of the war. Later, they expanded the content to cover food, clothing and shelter, and published "Kurashi no Techo."

Kurashi no Techo counts its first century at 100 issues, and the magazine is currently in its fifth century of publication, but the 32 issues we have in stock this time represent the second century, spanning from 1979 to 1985. The covers were designed by Seiji Fujishiro, who turned 100 this year, and are truly stunning.
