This is a railway signal light with glass of different sizes facing each other. It was manufactured by Koito Manufacturing in October 1951, making it over 70 years old.
It has a handle, but I don't know if it was held by someone to send a signal, or if it was fixed somewhere and used.
The body is made of iron and appears to have been painted black. The diameters of the glass are 12cm and 15.5cm. The exterior has only minor damage, such as uneven paint, scratches, and cloudy glass, but there is some rust inside.
The cord and plug are new. The bulb size is E26 (sold separately). To change the bulb, simply lift up the side door.
