This is a tool used to hold workpieces on a lathe. It is manufactured by Kitagawa Iron Works. The gap in the center is about 4 mm, so it looks like it could hold something in it, but it can also be used as a weight or bookend.
After cleaning, some of the rust has been removed, but there is still some rust in the grooves. Please note that there are also scratches and dullness. It is unclear whether the item is still usable.
Due to the nature of the product, it cannot be shipped together with any other products other than metal blocks.
