Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corporation, founded in 1903 as a company dealing in storage jars, is now a subsidiary of a larger company and is a somewhat obscure sister brand of Ball. However, the company's contributions to the mason jar industry, including the development of innovative lids, are significant.

This Mason jar is part of a series that was produced over a fairly long period, from the 1920s to the 1950s, but judging from the embossed text on the bottom, it appears to have been made in the 1920s.

At this time, it had not been that long since Kerr began manufacturing its own products, so the level of technology was not very high and the glass showed characteristics such as distortions, wrinkles, and bubbles.
*Until 1909, Kerr did not have its own factory, and actual manufacturing was outsourced to Illinois Pacific and Hazel-Atlas.

The glass has some minor scratches, cloudiness, and a dull edge, but considering its age, it is in fairly good condition. There is no major damage such as cracks or chips.

It can be used to store vases and small items, and the glass is not badly stained, so for those familiar with it, it is also recommended for storing pickles, syrup, coffee beans, and cereal. However, the metal lid has white rust and chips, so it would be best to replace it with a clean lid. The opening is the same size as the current Regular Mouth.
