This mason jar was used to sell Frank Tea & Spice Company's "Jumbo" brand peanut butter. It has a unique design with embossed lines all around.
The original lid was supposed to be a metal one with a picture of an elephant on it, but it was damaged, so we provided a matching lid of a similar size.
The size is 16 oz, and the capacity is approximately 420 ml when it is just short of being filled to the brim. There is a cloudiness on the glass that cannot be removed. Please note that the lid has some small scratches and peeling plating.
Because the lid is made of metal, it is not recommended for storing liquids, but for customers who are used to old-fashioned containers, it is recommended for storing sweets, seasonings, tea leaves, coffee beans, etc. The lid is not as airtight as modern containers, so it may be safer to use a desiccant.
