small glass dome

This is a small palm-sized glass dome. The base is an old sewing machine leg cover (a cushion to prevent damage to the floorboards), and the dome is a pre-war jelly mold. The jelly mold has a tasteful texture with bubbles and wrinkles.

Please note that the glass may contain impurities or chips at the bottom, and the base may have some blackening.

The base has a recess on one side, but you can use either side to display small items such as jewelry or nuts.
