Glass Display Shelves

This is a simple display shelf made of a support, a wooden board, and four glass panels. It probably dates back to the early Showa period, and the brass support has a Japanese finish.

If you look closely, you can see that the edges of the glass plates are different, so it seems that broken plates were replaced as they were used. They may have been used by individuals or in shops.

There are small scratches on the glass surface, tiny chips on the edges, dullness and partial verdigris (rust) on the support, and stains and scratches on the base, but the damage is not severe enough to interfere with display use. You can display your collection here, or use it as display furniture in a shop. There are no particularly eye-catching features, and it doesn't look good in photos, but it is a nice item in its own way.
