Colorful peony teacup (soba choko, mukozuke)

This mukozuke (teacup) has a glaze on which small flowers are painted. The colors used are orange to vermilion, light green, and ink. The capacity is about 160-170ml when filled to the brim. If filled to 80%, it is about 110-120ml.

There may be some damage such as particles attached during manufacturing, areas that are not glazed, distorted shapes, small scratches, or stains on the base, but we have excluded any that would interfere with use.

Please note that items with small chips or significant kiln marks from the manufacturing process will be offered at a discount (see the last photo).

It can be used as a teacup, and is also recommended for serving small dishes such as vinegared dishes and pickles, or for desserts such as yogurt, ice cream, and zenzai.
