This is a low-profile, uniquely shaped coffee jar from Iris Coffee. As the name suggests, it's a glass container originally used to sell coffee beans, with a mouth the size of a regular mason jar. It originally came with a printed lid, but it was damaged, so we provided a more practical Presto lid.

This lid is designed to fasten the glass lid with a metal ring, so the only thing that comes into contact with the contents of the jar is the glass, making it safe for storing food.

The container itself is manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Company. We have two glass colors in stock: pale yellow-green and pale pink. Please choose your preference when ordering.

Both glasses are fairly thick and have a tasteful, shimmering texture. They are in very good condition, with a few small scratches, but no noticeable stains or damage such as chips on the rim (the yellow-green one has kiln marks on the rim from the manufacturing process, but they are not cracks). The yellow-green one is thought to have been manufactured in the 1930s, while the pink one is thought to have been manufactured in the 1940s or 1950s.

It can be used to store small items, and as it is in excellent condition, we hope you will enjoy using it to store coffee beans, tea leaves, sweets, seasonings, and more.

Size: Yellow-green: base diameter 11.4 x 11.4 cm, height approximately 14.7 cm, weight 683 g, capacity approximately 1000 ml
Pink: base diameter 11.5 x 11.6 cm, height approx. 14.5 cm, weight 565 g, capacity approx. 1000 ml
