This small white porcelain dish has the character for longevity (kotobuki) engraved on the inside as a pattern. It is thought to date from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period, and is just under 10cm in diameter. It is flat in the center and has raised edges.

The lack of glaze or holes that appear to be present are kiln marks from the manufacturing process, but please understand that stains and dents may be present (items with dents will be sold at a discount).
It can be used to serve a small amount of pickles or boiled greens, as a soy sauce dish, or for sweets and desserts.
