This vintage Homer Laughlin mug features a gold rim. Homer Laughlin was founded in 1871 and continued to make mugs until 2020, but this particular mug is one of their oldest, dating back to 1927.
The mug is made of ceramic, not porcelain, so it's lighter and easier to hold than a typical diner mug. It holds just over 300ml of liquid.
We have two in stock, and both have small grains and faded lines from the manufacturing process, but there are few scratches on the sides considering their age, so they are in good condition considering their age. Although it does not affect use, item A has peeling glaze and a stain on the edge opposite the handle, which is reflected in the price.
