We have a very rare and vintage Homer Laughlin mug in stock.
Homer Laughlin is a brand that continues to exist despite being acquired, so its products are widely distributed and it seems to be well-known in Japan. Some people may also know it as the colorful Fiesta brand tableware, which was loved by Andy Warhol, but it was founded in 1871 and has a very long history.
The stamp on the bottom is one that was used from the 1900s to the 1950s, but the "59N" on the bottom line of the stamp suggests that it was manufactured in May 1919.
Looking at the condition, there is crazing all over the piece, with some stains here and there. There is also a faint purple stain on the rim that appears to be from lipstick, but overall there are few scratches, indicating that it has been treated with great care.
Considering its age, it could be called an antique, but it is extremely rare to find an American mug from this era in such good condition. There are few scratches and the luster is still intact, so even with the stains and crazing, it doesn't look dirty. If you're a fan, this is a must-have.
Size : Outer diameter of opening: 8.9cm, height: approx. 8.7cm, weight: 386g, capacity: approx. 270ml
Delivery
60 size
Precautions
We exclude items that are difficult to use or have major damage such as chips or cracks in the opening, but please be aware that these are old items that have actually been used and therefore may not be brand new or perfect items without any defects.
