Grinding Goggles

These are work goggles in an aluminum case from the United States. We received about five unused deadstock pairs, but the rubber on each pair was powdery white and the glass was cloudy, so we removed the lenses and cleaned them. We cleaned the rubber with a cleaner that is harmless to the human body. There is still some cloudiness and some white areas, but fortunately there is no major damage such as deterioration of the rubber or chipping of the glass.

It's a great companion for motorcycles or convertibles, and can be hung on a cap or knit hat when working in dusty conditions, or as a fashion accessory around your neck. The aluminum case is also a nice touch.
