Soba choko with grass motif

This soba choko has a pattern of crossed diagonal lines, probably a grass pattern. I think it might be the one made of dried rice or barley, but what do you think?

It is not pure white but has a grayish color, is not thick, and it is difficult to determine whether it is from Mino or Seto, but it is likely from the Edo period. Please note that there are stains, dents, blackening on the bottom, distortion of the shape, and small areas where the glaze has peeled off.
