Gooseneck Lamp with Clamp

This gooseneck lamp can be oriented freely. It is not meant to be placed on a table, but rather attached to a desk or shelf with a clamp. It is an ordinary Showa-era lamp, but it has a nice worn-in feel and the light filtering through the small hole in the shade is very appealing.

The plug and cord have been replaced with new ones, and an ON/OFF switch has been installed along the way. The bulb used is an E26 (sold separately). The screw securing the neck to the clamp was missing, so a metal plate was inserted into the base of the neck to secure it in place. There are scratches, tarnish, dents, rust, and discoloration, but the instrument has been cleaned while retaining its aged look .
