This face ornament is made by Kagami Crystal, Japan's first specialized crystal glass manufacturer. It is made of thin, flat glass, about 30cm in diameter. It originally had a string tied to it so that it could be hung up for display.
The string is gone, but apart from some minor surface scratches, there is no visible damage and it is in excellent condition. It can be displayed by placing it on the table, but I think it would be best to hang it by the string.
