This is an old birdcage from France. It's a simple wooden box with wire running through the front, but I think its charm lies in its crude, unpolished construction.
Please note that the inside and outside of the cage have only been wiped down, and traces of bird activity will remain. The inside is completely dry and odorless. The center of the wire can be opened and closed, but please be careful of the wire that pops out from the top when opening it.
You can display it as it is, or you can put something inside it to decorate it or even add lighting for an interesting look.
