This is a folding lantern for camping, skiing, and mountain climbing. It uses candles instead of oil, and holds candles about 2.2 to 4 cm in diameter. It stands about 25 cm tall, but folds up quite compactly.
The design is very similar to the American STONEBRIDGE candle lantern, but this one is probably made by EVER NEW, a company known for its outdoor and sports equipment. Since there is no EVER NEW logo on the body, I suspect it dates back to the 1940s or 1950s.
We have cleaned the items as much as possible, but please be aware that some soot and dirt may remain.
