This Eagle desk lamp dates back to the 1930s or 1940s. The dark green shade has some peeling paint on the top and some rust, but it still has a rugged, calm look. The neck also has some peeling paint, but it still works perfectly. The cast iron base is stable and practical.
The label that remains on the socket includes the Eagle mark as well as the mark of Underwriters Laboratories, the inspection and certification organization.
There is no damage that would require replacing the part, but if you pull too hard the socket may come off the neck, so please be careful when adjusting the angle of the neck.
