This olive-green wine bottle appears to be from the Netherlands or Belgium. It is difficult to determine its age, but we suspect it is from the early 1800s.
As it was salvaged from the ocean floor, it has a lot of patina, as you can see. Of course, it could be cleaned up to some extent by scrubbing it with a brush, but it has only been cleaned to a certain extent (gravel, soil, and shells that had gotten into the bottle have been removed).
There are some small scratches and marks on the sides, but no major damage such as chips or cracks. The bottle has a slight distortion in shape, and if you look closely you can see bubbles and wrinkles, so it might be interesting to try placing it in different places and enjoy the different appearances.
