Wooden carving of Daikoku

Daikoku-sama is looking slightly downwards. The sculpture has depth, and it looks like there is a lot of stuff in the bag he is carrying on his back.

It looks like it dates back to the Meiji period. Although it is quite sooty, it has a peaceful expression with a slight smile. Please note that it has only been cleaned by brushing, so there may be some light dirt and chips .
