Wooden carving of Daikoku

This is Daikoku-sama holding a very small mallet. It is nicely sooted, and probably dates back to the Meiji period. It has a happy, slightly smiling face.

There is a chip in the hat and other slight wear. Please note that the item has only been cleaned by brushing, so there may be some light dirt and chips .
