This is a showcase used in a candy store. A tin tray fits snugly inside a wooden frame, and the lid is fitted with glass.
There are scratches and stains all over the container, and some rust on the metal fittings and tin tray, but the rust on the tray has been polished away. Please note that the caulking holding the glass lid in place is beginning to peel off, so it may be a little wobbly.
It is probably from before the 1950s, so it is in good condition considering its age. Perfect for storing and displaying watches, accessories, and collections.
