This is a long, narrow, horizontal bottle that was primarily used in tobacco shops. It's an old pre-war item with a striking appearance and a metal lid.
The glass is thick and weighs a hefty 4.7 kg. There are bubbles and wrinkles, giving it the charm of an ancient time. There are scratches and chips in the plaster covering the lid, due to years of use, but no significant damage.
You can use it to display dried goods or small items, to store illumination lights, as a small item holder, or to store bagged snacks or seasonings. If you are storing food, it is a good idea to put a desiccant inside.
