This cart was used to transport coffins in churches. The curved, retractable sides and the extensive decorations indicate it dates back to the early 1900s. As time went on, designs became more linear and decorations were removed.

While some trucks are made from aluminum, this one is made from chrome-plated steel. While there is some peeling plating, some rust, and some tarnish, the previous owner meticulously polished it, and it's in fairly good condition for an old church truck. The body extends and retracts, and the wheels move very smoothly.

One way to enjoy it is to place a glass top on it and use it as a low table. The tip of the pole can be removed with a screw (see the last photo), so you can drill a hole in the glass and secure it in place (in this case, you will need to purchase longer screws separately).

The maximum distance between the holes on the poles is about 74 x 41 cm, but if you drill holes in the tabletop to secure it, you can shrink the unit a little. There is also a lever on the wheels, and when you pull it down, it will lock the unit in place to prevent left and right movement.

Because the products are what they are, we do it our own way, purifying them with salt after they arrive.
