Norakuro figure

This figure is from "Norakuro," a manga series that ran for a long time from 1931 until the start of the Pacific War in 1941. Made of ceramic, it is shaped like a Zero fighter and was likely a toy made for children.

It is unclear what the holes in the front and back of Norakuro are, but there is no noticeable damage. However, please be aware that there is a rattling noise coming from inside.

I suspect it probably dates back to the 1930s, and it's no exaggeration to say it's a miracle that a piece of pottery from that time has survived in such good condition.
