CARTER CARBURETOR parts cabinet

This is a parts storage cabinet from the Carter Carburetor Company, founded in 1909. As the name suggests, Carter Carburetor manufactured car carburetors, but I imagine this item is quite old, probably from before the 1950s.

The cabinets are docked one by one and secured with screws, and this one has three stacked tiers. The top board was sold separately and was not included, so it appears to have been used as is. The original color is olive green, but the exterior has become much duller and more subdued.

There was some oil staining, so we cleaned it with a strong detergent. There are scratches, warping, dullness, peeling paint, and some rust, but it is still usable for storing tools and other items.

The dividers are 10x4 squares, with 40 notches per shelf, but there are 29 dividers in total. Please note that the dividers and notches may be warped, and some may be difficult to insert. You may also have fun searching for a metal or wooden board that fits the size of the tabletop.
