Founded in 1913, Carr China is a long-established manufacturer that provides a variety of ceramic products, including tableware, to hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc., and also produced tableware for the military during World War II.
This series, called Glo-Tan, was produced from the 1940s to 1952 and is characterized by a very pale beige color.
The cups have a slightly tapered mouth and are stackable. The handle is small, about the width of a finger, and the cup itself is thick, making them feel heavy for their size.
It is in very good condition, with no noticeable damage except for some minor scratches and stains.
However, some items have stains that occurred during manufacturing, and some have faint, scale-like stains, and these will be discounted by 300 yen and 1,000 yen, respectively.
