camel doll

This camel figurine is made of tanned leather. I once bought the exact same one at an American vintage shop, but I think it was originally a souvenir from Egypt.

The charming features are the eyes, which appear to have been quickly drawn with a brush, and are decorated with rope, thread, and scraps of leather. There are some traces of glue and some light dirt, but they are not particularly noticeable and the figure is generally in good condition.
