This is a small light that came with a Brother sewing machine. I think it dates back to the 1950s. It's very similar in shape to a Singer sewing machine light.
Although there are some small scratches and tarnish, the cord is in good condition and the shade still has a nice shine. The bulb used is a B15. To replace it, twist the shade to remove it. The metal fittings that were attached to the sewing machine are still attached to the base, so you can hang it from an S-hook or similar.
The light may go out depending on the angle due to contact, but it will come back on if you move it a little. Please do not disassemble it .
