This cup is from Broadhurst, a British company founded in 1862. Broadhurst changed its name to Churchill Tableware in 1984, so this product predates that time.
The material is hard ceramic, and although there are some small scratches, there is no crazing. There is no noticeable damage and it is in very good condition.
The sides are cylindrical and the bottom is tapered. I think it's designed to be used for both coffee and tea.
