Surveying theodolite

This is a device used to measure altitude and azimuth in surveying and astronomical observation. Since I'm not an expert, I can't confirm whether it's practical to use, but there are no problems with the moving parts and the screws don't appear to be tight. The lens is slightly cloudy, but it's clear and there are no problems with focusing.

There are no letters other than the numbers on the scale, so it is likely a pre-war Japanese product, but the exact information is unknown.

There are scratches, tarnish, some rust, and cloudy glass, but no major damage or heavy rust. There are many types of old equipment that are fun to look at, but this is probably the pinnacle of that.
