This pencil sharpener is from Boston, a company with a long history, founded in 1899. It likely dates to the 1925-1940s, shortly after the company was acquired by C. Howard Hunt Pen Co. The cover is made of celluloid. The base is olive-colored, giving it a small, rugged look.
There was a part of the handle that felt resistent when turning, so I disassembled it, cleaned it, and tried oiling it, but that didn't help. Normally with this type of pencil, you can hold the pencil and the main body in one hand and turn the handle with the other, but this one is quite difficult to turn, so I recommend fixing it to a stand.
There are some damages such as scratches, stains that cannot be removed, and a cracked celluloid cover, which are reflected in the price, but the atmosphere is outstanding, so if you like it, please get it.
