Small blue demijohn bottle

Demijohn bottles are used to transport a variety of liquids, including alcohol, distilled water, disinfectant, and formalin, and we imagine this bottle was also used for such purposes. At only about 30cm tall, it is quite small for a demijohn bottle.

It's rare to find glass this small, but it's also rare to find glass of such vivid blue. It appears to be a fairly old piece from before the war, and unfortunately the interior walls are cloudy, but the cloudiness disappears when you pour water into it.
